In-Classroom Activities
A Hands-On Approach to Learning
At KBS1, learning is interactive, engaging, and enriched with creativity . Our curriculum integrates the arts, technology, and physical education to provide a holistic educational experience that nurtures both intellectual and personal growth.
Art
Scholars unleash their creativity through painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art, exploring artistic techniques that enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
IT (Information Technology)
The program aims to equip learners with the essential skills needed in today’s technology-driven world. Covering web design, artificial intelligence (AI), programming, and digital literacy, it provides both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.
Physical Education
With two gym, a full athletics program, and sports competitions, scholars build teamwork, fitness, and discipline through structured physical activities. The PE program also focuses on discovering talents, developing leadership and sportsmanship, and forming teams of talented students to represent the school in external private education tournaments. In addition, students learn the importance of proper healthy nutrition while enhancing cooperation, collaboration, and a strong sense of unity through group activities.
These in-class experiences not only strengthen physical skills but also foster creativity, confidence, and self-expression, ensuring that scholars are actively engaged in learning every day.

International Day
Scholars celebrate different cultures, traditions, and cuisines from around the world, fostering an appreciation for global diversity.
Arabic Day
A special event that highlights the beauty of the Arabic language, poetry, music, and traditions, strengthening scholars’ connection to their cultural heritage.
Sports Day
The Annual Sports Day is one of the most exciting events of the school year, bringing together students, teachers, and parents in a spirit of fun, competition, and friendship.
The event takes place outside the school, either at Al-Qasr Park or at the Public Authority for Youth and Sports playgrounds. Students participate in a variety of sports, scouting activities, and recreational games that encourage teamwork and healthy competition.
Throughout the day, different competitions are held, and the winners are honored at the closing ceremony with medals, certificates, and trophies as a recognition of their achievements.
A special highlight of the Sports Day is the friendly matches that bring together students, teachers, and parents. These matches create a warm and joyful atmosphere, strengthen the bonds within the school community, and remind us that our school is more than a place for learning – it is a family that shares memorable moments together.
Science Fair
Scholars participate in the annual Science Fair to showcase experiments, projects, and innovative ideas that demonstrate their curiosity, problem-solving skills, and scientific thinking. This event encourages hands-on learning, creativity, and real-world application of scientific concepts.
National & Liberation Day Celebrations
A vibrant celebration of Kuwait’s heritage, history, and independence, filled with traditional performances, music, and school-wide festivities.
KBS Bazaar
A lively marketplace where scholars, families, and local businesses showcase handmade crafts, food, and creative products, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.
Math Fair
An exciting exhibition where scholars present creative and challenging projects in mathematics, highlighting problem-solving, logical reasoning, and real-life applications of math skills.
This event provides a valuable opportunity for scholars to explore mathematics in new ways, share their ideas, and engage with their school community through numbers, patterns, and innovative solutions.
